Eyebrow
Transplant

In the event of permanent loss of eyebrow follicles, an eyebrow transplant may be an option for those who have had permanent loss of eyebrows. A wide range of factors contribute to thinning or disappearance of the brows. As a result of the frequent removal of hair from the same regions, hair loss may develop in the eyebrows. However, permanent make-up or other serious disorders, such as chemotherapy for cancer or skin problems, may also cause eyebrow loss (typically alopecia areata).

Even if you’ve lost your eyebrows, there’s a possibility they’ll regrow in certain circumstances.   In order to do an eyebrow transplant, hair follicles are harvested from any suitable donor location, although the most common place is the back of the head. After that, they’re applied to the places where the brows have fallen out.

Transplantation of the eyeb
rows using the DHI Method

When it comes to hair transplantation, eyebrow transplants are among the most time-consuming and exacting. A natural-looking appearance is critical in eyebrow transplants. In order to do this, the transplanted grafts’ angle and orientation must be carefully watched by a skilled eye to ensure that they mirror the natural arch of the original brow.

At Max Hair Center, Dr. Akbar Aydin uses the DHI hair transplant process for eyebrow transplants. The DHI procedure, as opposed to FUE, allows for more precise transplantation and may therefore more readily reach between the existing eyebrow hairs.

Transplantation of the Eyeb
row: Surgical strategy

When it comes to eyebrows transplantation, aesthetics are always a top consideration for us. This necessitates the creation of a patient-specific surgical strategy.

An Eyebrow Transplantation consists of four stages:

In most cases, 200-300 grafts are sufficient for an eyebrow transplant to be completed in 2-3 hours. On the day of the procedure, there are three phases and one follow-up step the following day.

1.  Checkup:  During a physical examination, the shape of the brow will be established by the doctor. Patients’ face traits and specific demands are taken into account at this phase of the procedure. Hair from the donor and recipient areas will be analyzed by the doctor during the consultation.

2. Removal of Grafts: The procedure begins with the removal of the grafts. In the case of persons with long hair, the unshaven procedure may be used to collect donor grafts. This surgery will be easier to do because of the smaller number of grafts required. The unshaven technique of graft harvesting only requires shaving a little portion of the back of the head. Because the majority of your hair will cover up the shaved area, the phrase “unshaven” is used. Other individuals won’t see the shaved region where the grafts will be taken Hair follicles are removed and only single hairs are extracted, while other DHI transplant treatments favor grafts with many hair shafts when performing the extraction operation. In order to get a naturally beautiful set of eyebrows, only

single hairs may be used. The donor location will be anesthetized before to the extraction procedure.

3. Start of transplantation: A topical anesthetic is then used to numb the recipient region (the brows). Hair follicles are transplanted with precision using the DHI/Choi implanter pen, which accounts for the exact angle and direction of hair development. Again, this step is critical in the quest for a visually appealing result.

4. Recovery/Follow-up: There will be an application of a dressing the next day in order to make sure that the dermal tissue has been effectively secured and to avoid any further medical issues. If you have just had a hair transplant procedure, we will offer you with instructions on how to properly care for your newly transplanted hair. Avoiding direct sunlight on the region for two months, as well as trimming or severe friction during the first month, are examples of precautions that should be taken.

Eyebrow Transplantation: Ob
serving the End Results

After a Eyebrows transplant, how long will it take to regrow?

Newly transplanted eyebrow hairs grow much like fresh hairs from a donor scalp. Shock-loss is a temporary syndrome that might occur during the first 15 days after the surgery. The patient's hair will begin to grow out in the following three months. The procedure's effects will be seen in the 8-12 months that follow.
